Welcome to FNB Financial
Effective December 1, 2007, FNB Financial Corporation, the parent company of The First National Bank of Three Rivers, merged with and into Southern Michigan Bancorp to form a two-bank holding company with Southern Michigan Bank & Trust Company. The parent company of both The First National Bank of Three Rivers and Southern Michigan Bank & Trust Company is Southern Michigan Bancorp.
Additionally, effective December 31, 2007, The First National Bank of Three Rivers converted its banking charter from a national charter to a state charter. With this charter conversion, the bank’s official name changed from The First National Bank of Three Rivers to FNB Financial. As a result of the charter conversion, the bank’s regulatory agency changed from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and State of Michigan, Office of Financial and Insurance Services (OFIS). All references to the bank’s name and regulatory agency throughout this website will be changed in the near future.
